About Us

The Logan County Economic Development Corporation (LCEDC) is a not-for-profit corporation whose activities involving the promotion of Logan County are strongly endorsed by both public and private entities.

LCEDC’s leadership team includes board members and staff with diversified industry and management experience in real estate, construction, telecommunications, project management, finance, operations,  and small business. The Board includes representatives from the Sterling City Council, Logan County Board of County Commissioners, and Sterling Urban Renewal Authority. The depth and breadth of our team contributes to accomplishing our mission to grow Logan County’s economy.    2017 LCEDC Leadership Team.   Various advisory committees provide industry insight and project steering committee assistance.

What We Do

  • Retention & expansion of existing businesses accounts for more than 70% of economic growth in communities. By working with local businesses to improve the business climate, jobs can be saved and new jobs created through expansion. This paves the way for recruitment of new businesses to the community.
  • Recruitment of new industry targets businesses that complement and diversify Logan County’s existing economic base.
  • Infrastructure Development helps make Logan County a more attractive place to live and do business. Infrastructure improvements, such as enhanced telecommunications, are important to the future growth of Logan County.

LCEDC is your point of contact for to expand our relocate your business to Logan County. We can assist with resources for financing, local and state incentive packages, and obtaining state and federal grants, if applicable.   We will assist with local government contacts and relocation logistics.   The Logan County office of East Colorado Small Business Development Center is co-located with LCEDC.  East CO SBDC .
