NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Logan County Economic Development Corporation (LCEDC) will receive sealed proposals for the construction of Prototype Buildings to be located in Logan County, Colorado.

  1. The Work shall be in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications and other related Contract Documents as prepared and issued by The Architect, Garden City, Kansas.
  2. All proposals shall be delivered to the office of LCEDC; P.O. Box 72; 213 Main Street, Sterling, Colorado 80751, by 2:00pm MST, Wednesday, January 12, 2011.
  3. There are three (3) sizes of industrial buildings (35,000; 50,000 and 100,000 square feet) with office modules located within or attached to the structures which may increase the overall square footage of the footprints. The design of these buildings should accommodate multiple industrial functions based upon the needs of the eventual owner/occupant. Bidders will provide separate bid estimates for each size building in their sealed proposals.

  1. A complete set of bidding documents are available from Salina Blueprint located at 209 S. Santa Fe, Salina, Kansas 67401, (800) 284-6392. JOB NO. 209.002. Electronic Bid Documents are available for review and purchase on internet by going to the Online Plan Room tab located at: www.salinablue.com. Hard copy Bid documents are also available for review at Salina Blue, The Architects Office, LCEDC office, Logan County Planning & Zoning office, Courthouse Annex, 315 Main Street, Sterling, CO 80751 and numerous plan rooms (see listings at www.salinablue.com).
  2. Prints ordered or obtained from any other source than Salina Blue are at user risk. This IS NOT a deposit job. Full bidding documents are recommended (see disclaimer).
  3. Instructions to Bidders, –CLARIFICATION to the following: Salinablue.com has the current Plan holders List: Due to the way the electronic plan room is set up, there are Two (2) listings for this project, the first one starting as ‘Prototype Buildings…’ lists the plan holders who ordered hard copies of the plans….Just Below That Listing is another listing for the project that starts as ‘CD-Version…” you will also need to click on this listing to see the plan holders who ordered the CD version of the plans. To see the complete list of bidders or plan holders, you will need to click on both listings. Subcontractors desiring to locate General Contractors to contact – please use the information above.
  4. DISCLAIMER: Individual prints may be ordered, however, any prints ordered as single are proved at the requestor risk. Neither the Owner, Architect nor Salina Blue may be held responsible for bids completed using partial bidding documents. Complete bidding information is available for the project and use of less than full bidding documents to include Addendums is the sole risk of those making the request. There may be additional information on other sheets that could affect the bid.
  5. SINGLE CONTRACT: the Work shall be let as a single contract under the terms of the preamble to the instructions. The Contractor shall assume all responsibility, finance, liability insurance and supervision and the coordination of all their Work to be done, and shall include all fees for guaranteeing the performance of all sub-contractors under his contract.
