Take the State Economic Development On-Line Survey

March 09 2011

Governor Hickenlooper has announced and is carryign forward with a “bottom-up” economic development initiative.  Throught this initiative, which is being administered by the state’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) in partnership with Colorado State University’s Office of Engagement and Extension,  Governor Hickenlooper is asking for residents across the State, county by county, to share their stories, challenges, and strengths by developing a strategic economic development plan for their county.  These county plans will then be rolled up into 14 regional economic development plans, which collectively will be rolled up into a statewide economic development plan.

There are many ways you can provide input to the Logan County plan.  One of those ways is to to take an on-line survey provided by the state.  You can access the survey at www.advancecolorado.com (click on the <Bottom Up> tab and then the <Online Survey> tab), or you can access the survey directly by clicking “survey” here.   You can also provide input by attending Logan County’s next public meeting in the “bottom up” process, which will be held on Wednesday, March 16, at 6:30 PM at the Logan County Courthouse on the second floor.

Please take time (it takes about 15 minutes) to fill out the survey and to attend the meeting!
